Here at Direct Line Group, it’s not all about insurance. It’s about people too. And doing what’s best for them – customers and colleagues alike. We believe in building long-term relationships. Relationships that reduce the risk for our customers and that help our own people build a career that matches their ambitions. Ready to take the lead?
Claims Analysis & People Management Graduate and Internship programmes
Our Claims teams support and manage the claims process from start to end for the whole group. It’s the largest single area here – with offices across the country supporting our 50+ brands. As well as being our biggest function, this team is the fastest changing one. We’ve invested in an ambitious technology and business change programme that will be central to our aims – helping us to become the best insurer.
What to expect
Our graduate programme lasts for two years – while our Internships last for 8 weeks. Both programmes offer a chance to find out about the wide-range of activity that falls into this business area.
You’ll begin with an induction that introduces you to our organisation and the insurance industry in general. After this, as a Graduate, you’ll learn all about how Claims work here – as well as the skills need for the different areas within it. And once you’ve decided which of these areas is right for you, you’ll have the chance to become on expert in it.
Our 8-week summer internship programme will give you the chance to find out what it’s really like to work for the UK’s leading retail general insurer. You’ll work on actual business tasks as well as completing a unique project, presenting your findings to our Executive Committee at the end of your programme. You’ll take part in training and development workshops and enjoy networking and social events throughout the summer. We’ll offer the best performing interns a place on the 2014 Direct Line Group graduate programme.
