Your role as a Human Capital Solutions Graduate:

Within our human capital solutions practice, we recruit graduates into the following specialist service lines:

Reward Advisory – Our consultants support board and management teams to ensure that an organisation’s pay and benefits align with their business strategy and culture — as well as being bold in their markets

Employee Rewards – The market for innovative talent is as fierce as ever, which means your business needs to stand out from the crowd in a clear and compelling way. Reimagining the approach to employee rewards is a great way to get there.

Executive Compensation – programs need to be competitive, compelling, aligned with business performance and directly linked to shareholder value. We help organizations sort, clarify and dominate their markets so they can stay focused delivering the business strategy.

Reward Data & Analytics – Our performance and analytics practice help companies optimise workforce performance, manage people risk and use data to increase agility and resilience

Data – Our team of technical individuals are focused on quality data management and technology support. We partner with colleagues to gather client and product delivery requirements, and plan delivery in line with our global rewards data delivery programme.

Talent Assessment – Allows clients to maximise their investment in people through innovative, online psychometric assessment tools — which helps clients to attract, select and manage their teams.

Aon Assessment Solutions provides clients with powerful tools and insights to help them make better talent decisions at every stage of the employee lifecycle. This includes pre-hire assessments, identifying future leaders, screening for digital skills and agility, and AI-enabled solutions. Aon’s Assessment Solutions undertakes 30 million assessments each year in 90 countries and 40 languages

If the Human Capital Solutions Consulting Graduate programme is the right one for you, please review the information on each team and select your 1st choice preferred team should you be successful. Please note that where possible, we will try to consider you for your first-choice preference, however we cannot guarantee your first choice due to availability of roles. If your first choice is unavailable at the time of your Assessment Centre, we will also consider you for the other teams.

Your Development

As an Aon Graduate, you will be enrolled onto our Launch Programme when you join. This development programme is built around 2 core elements:

  • Business learning – on the job learning and experiences giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the team and solution line you have joined
  • Centralised learning – UK graduates complete in an Aon Induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to help you develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our business

Whichever business area you work in, you’ll be working with a diverse range of companies from across the UK and Europe.

Your learning and development will be fast-paced and hands-on, giving you crucial technical knowledge and client management skills, as well as the opportunity to develop client relationships early on in your career. We encourage our graduates to take ownership for managing their own careers and building their client base. The ever-evolving business landscape requires companies to think differently and change the way they operate. As a result, our consultants have varied and exciting roles.

You will need to have or be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any subject area

  • MSc in Occupational Psychology or equivalent
  • 2.1 or above in an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any subject area

What are we looking for?

  • Strong understanding of psychometrics
  • Interest in the technology and technical aspects of online assessment
  • Naturally curious, enthusiastic and highly motivated to find solutions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness – this helps us to provide support and advice to our clients with clarity and confidence
