Moody’s RMS has introduced a cyber industry steering group to foster industry-wide efforts in response to the expanding global cyber insurance market.

In their view, the public discussion needs to center more on investing in adaptation measures to reduce the physical risk of climate change. While the (re)insurance industry was among those who raised warnings about the effects of a changing climate early on, both argue that there is even more the insurance industry can contribute to boost resilience against climate risks.
